i'll probably agree that it's not as "In Your Face" awesome as his last one, but it's still an amazing show. I really don't care much for subaru myself either, but i can't deny the skill involved here and the car used worked very well for what he/they were portraying.

I know self controll should be in order but watching that makes me want to go pound on my 1.1 car now..

Why does it sound like the car is spitting all the time? 1:45 is especially noteworthy of it, even though it happens nonstop.

I loved that vid. I love the slo-mo of how close he really is when he drifts in/on/around obstacles. It looked freakin awesome. I want that jacket. I admire his skills. IDK slasher, but I truly love that sound. IMO it sounds pretty good.

I hate that guy. I hate his car. His car is ugly and slow. He is not a skilled driver. I hate DC shoes. I hate water balloons, shipyards, and expecially slow motion.

That was AMAZING. Ken Block is really one of the best IMO, and the fact that Rob Dyrdek was in it made it even better. To me, the way they out fitted that Subaru made it look a lot better than it ever would have looked.

Pretty sweet driving I will say, but I'll take a super-charged V8 any day! You want good sound, the V8 takes the cake.

I've seen that video. As much as I like the older style more...the new style has grown on me. It's a subaru...that's all that matters.

right.., the audi was a group B rally car when back in the day there was no limit on how much power a car could have...that class has been banned for over 20years. The porsche is nice...I doubt it's a group A rally car. Can't find any info on the car.

BTW the Audi Sport Quattro is now available to import to the US. The 25 year clause is up, so they don't have to pass emissions or crash. It was Audi's way of homologating the chassis for WRC. It's like the Audi Quattro Coupe, but 12" shorter wheelbase, and a 300hp 2.1 turbo 5 cyl with a special 20v cylinder head. They aren't cheap though, as they were built in very limited numbers, figure 150-200K.

yea, that was one of my favorite parts. I also like when he drifted out and almost went into the bay. And when he went sideways between the road barriers and his bumper just barely scraped it, if he even hit it. And his smile of enjoyment when he went under the trailer. And that acute angle turn. A hairpin type turn.

Me, I personally would import 3 cars. The Ford RS200 Evo, 2002 and 2004 Alfa Romeo 156 GTA.

I saw one of those RS 200s at the Oregon Trail Rally. Amazing little machine. I didn't know they had two shocks per wheel in the rear. Here's pics of it, and since we're talking rally, a link to my photobucket page of the rest of the photos I took there.

Yea...the RS200 was WAY ahead of it's time. One of the most powerful rallies car every built.

People (myself included) seem to have a real soft spot for this era of rally cars. Maybe it's the insane power and speed, maybe it's just nostalgia. But there were just as many people looking at the older cars on display as there were checking out Foust's and Pastrana's new cars.

One thing I like about the older cars is that there were no electronic "nannies." Those guys had to drive with their eyes, hands and feet.
